Diploma in Special Gerontology

Gerontology is the study of the physical aspects of aging, as well as the mental, social and societal implications of aging. From early beginnings in research and theory, gerontology developed into a multidisciplinary field of study and, more recently, into a professional field commonly known as the field of aging. Gerontology can be a rewarding field, allowing to practice a range of skills to improve the health of older adults. As a gerontologist intern, students will apply a mix of biological and psychological practices to the study of aging.
